Amy Says:
Hello there. I consider myself thoroughly well-rounded with all things design. I began planning and designing weddings and events for close family and friends as a hobby after planning my own wedding. It didn’t take long for me to realize that this was much more than just a hobby, but a passion that I would translate into a career.
After graduating from Kansas State University with a Bachelor of Arts in Fashion Design and Marketing, as well as a Minor in Business, I began my career in the restaurant industry. My experience allows me to balance both business and design aspects through management, interior design, and floral arrangement composition.
Between paging through the latest design and floral magazines and reading all of the most up to date wedding style blogs, it is amazing I can still make time for my husband Jim and my two dogs, Ellie the Rottweiler and Mia the Shih Tzu.
I love working with each individual to create a fabulous event on any budget. The most important aspect of this work is helping others transform their design dreams into an attainable reality. |

Hi everyone! I have been a planner my whole life. Even as a child, I meticulously planned everything from my neighborhood tea parties to spot on scheduling of events for my family’s numerous vacations.
After graduating from Kansas State University I learned the in and outs of event planning through my experience in corporate events. From the smallest detail, to the most crucial moments, I learned the fundamentals of solid planning from a group of extremely talented and experienced event planners.
After venturing out from under the corporate wing, I have had the amazing opportunity to combine my love for events with the creativity and personalization of weddings, celebrations, and events of all shapes and sizes. The most important thing to me as a planner is to really get to know each person and bring to the table what is uniquely theirs. I love taking the stress of an event off a person’s shoulders and watching their emotions turn into excitement and joy. I consider myself privileged to be a part of each event and I take the responsibility very seriously.
I love chatting with people, making new friends, and discovering shared experiences. I believe that every stranger is just a friend I haven’t met yet! I also love spending time with friends, dancing, camping, and listening to some sweet tunes, particularly bluegrass. |
