The floral design process begins with a free initial consultation. Initial consultations last approximately 1 hour. We ask that you come prepared with a list of quantities needed, applicable color/fabric swatches that can be left behind for reference, as well as photos of your venue if you are hoping to incorporate focal features in your design. Depending on the scale of the project, we can also arrange for a site visit after booking. We also encourage you to bring inspirational pictures of flowers, fabrics, natural settings, or art to this consultation meeting to help with the creative brainstorming process! Not exactly sure what your style is yet? No problem. We can work with you to help define your vision.
The wedding planning process also begins with an initial free consultation that last approximately 1 hour. We will discuss in detail the type of wedding you would like both you and your guests to experience. We will also determine what level of service will work best for you. If you have any pictures, vision boards, or plans already formed, we ask that you bring those to help define your vision. If you don’t have any of these items, that if perfectly fine! We can help you narrow your vision by browsing through pictures of weddings that we had a hand in creating as well as other pictures we find inspirational. Eventually we will help transform those thoughts and ideas into a fully realized, stress free, and beautiful event.
In design each wedding is completely unique to each couple. Some of the factors that can determine your pricing are:
- Size of arrangements and quantity of flowers
- Season of your wedding
- Flower varieties
- Color of florals
- Event size
- Complexity of design
We have found that the most successful way to approach your wedding is to have you present us with a budget that you would like us to work within. We are then able to devise a proposal that will allow you to get the most out of your resources. This will allow us to focus on your priorities and find creative solutions for areas that are not as important to you.
While we have no minimum budget requirements, we advise you to consider your flower budget at 8%-12% of your entire budget.
Hitched Planning + Floral believes that every event is unique, therefore we offer several options of event planning and design. Full service planning is designed for clients who want assistance with planning from start to finish. We will be your advocate by your side throughout the entire planning process. Day of coordination is perfect for the client who has done the leg work, but wants to relax and enjoy the celebration. We have two different levels of day of coordination that we can discuss more fully upon consultation. All day of coordination packages include a coordinator onsite for the duration of your wedding, as early as you want, as late as you need. Just need to pick our brains for an hour or two? We’re game. We are available for hourly consultations.
