Ever since we saw the silhouette of the Kauffman Center for the Performing Arts transforming the Kansas City landscape, we have been dreaming of a grand affair in the airy and elegant halls. Jennie + Adam and their amazing families finally gave us the opportunity to create such a celebration. We were so excited to help them plan and design their clean and elegant wedding that truly highlighted and celebrated not only their love for one another, but the stunning space which they chose. The day began with Jennie and all her ladies getting pampered by Jolie Artistry at the multi-level suite at The Ambassador Hotel. The couple wed in an elegant and traditional ceremony at St. John’s United Methodist Church. Guests were greeted by two floral wreaths on the church doors and the altar was adorned with a pair of grand floral pieces full of ivory, soft blush and touches of greenery atop tall glass vases. An elegant plated meal was provided by the Kauffman Center for the Performing Arts while guests indulged on a gorgeous cake with cascade of sugar flowers by Rebekah Foster Cake Artist. Lost Wax and Jukeboxx Media kept guests dancing all night long with late night snacks by Big Daddy’s Donuts and Monk’s Roast Beef food truck. Little Yellow Leaf designed all the gorgeous paper goods including the table numbers and videography by Mike Varel. See more stunning images below by Wirken Photography.
