Laura + Tim are such a delight! The love they have for each other and their families is incredibly infectious. We were so excited to plan their wedding full of flowy and organic florals with plenty of personal touches. Since Laura and Tim met and lived in New York City, they wanted to keep with an urban feel and The Foundation Architectural Reclamation was the perfect backdrop. Its exposed ceilings and original wood floors were the perfect canvas for all of their peach, coral and ivory florals. We were obsessed with their XOXO marquee letters from Ultrapom that served as a great nod to The Ship‘s marquee letters where Laura’s very musical family hosted an after party concert. During their reception, Laura’s dad performed a song he wrote for her and there was not a dry eye in the house! Tim, a professional chef, made a super yummy clementine herb marmalade as a favor for all the guests. Moxie Catering served a delicious family style meal and cookies for a late night snack and Take the Cake provided their gorgeous cake. Vintage dishes and gold flatware was provided by The Vintage Plate Company and paper goods by MaeMae Paperie and Announce This. The PhotobusKC kept guests entertained while DJ Elwood kept them dancing. M&E Photo Studio captured their day beautifully.
