The 2025 Benefit
Each year, we plan and host a themed Benefit to raise funds and awareness for Wish Upon a Wedding. Every detail—from florals and paper goods to rentals, production, and catering—is generously donated by our incredible Kansas City wedding vendor community.
It’s a heartfelt evening to come together, honor our Wish recipients, and rally support for a cause that brings comfort, love, and celebration to couples facing serious illness.
Our First Wish
Thanks to Hitched Helping Hands and the incredible support from our Benefit events, we were honored to grant the very first Wish Upon a Wedding in Kansas City to Jenny and Nic Nelson.
With additional support from generous KC vendors and the Wish Upon a Wedding organization, we helped bring their vow renewal to life—a celebration of resilience, love, and hope in the face of Jenny’s life-altering cancer diagnosis.
